Those look great. Where did you find the wheels? I've been wanting them but they aren't made anymore

Sure why not.

Even got some rock scratches on them

They are Level 8 ZX wheels with what discount tire calls their scratch guard. It's an almost inch thick piece of heavy vulcanized rubber that's damn near impossible to damage. Feels like a hockey puck really.

Its rubber? Does that apply to all the Level 8 wheels? For some reason I thought it was more like a cutting board type of material. Did it affect how you painted it?

It's a very hard rubber, think hockey puck hard.

It's the trim ring and I'm not sure if all the level 8 wheels are compatible with them.

Didn't affect it at all, I hit it with 3 coats of spray paint and it looked great before I hit the rocks with then
