Default Post your fender chops!

So I finally had the balls and the reason to finally hack away at my fenders this past weekend. But before I took blade to plastic, I did a search for fender chops on the forum and got a few ideas here and there. The amount of different cuts I found I believe warrant a thread to house them. So please post your fender chops here so that others can be inspired in one place. Thanks.

Oh the reason I finally chopped my fenders is I put a nice size dent on my rear fender trying to squeeze past a tree on a wheeling trip and then I popped a few fender clips on my pass side front fully flexed. Anyway here are pics of my fender chop.

I just choped my fronts. Thinking about the back. I love it. My wife says it looks like a 4-wheeler.

i put my marker lights on top of the fender, the screw foe the light helps hold the fender to the under bracing...

Sorry don't have any good up close pics but here's a few on the trails to give you a feel for ours.

This is probably the best pic we have of the lines we went with.

tree vs JK ~ nice thing about the chopped oem's is you can pop them back in with some new clips, we carry a set with us.

And we love the extra clearance it provides.

renpia I like the rounded corners you did on yours. When I redo the edging in the spring I'm going to round off the corners on mine

I really like your chop design. It's unique. I thought of copying you but then there'd be 2 yellow 4-doors that would look too similar. Great looking ride!

Good call on the clips. I bought 2 bags for this reason as well. They break too easy.
