For me this question comes down to price, quality & function....

As far as I know they all function the same allowing airflow when attempting water crossings.....so it comes down to price & quality.

AEV- We all know they make quality products & their snorkel can be had for $344.95 at Northridge.

RR- Looks and functions great I'm sure...but they charge extra for any finish other than bare aluminum & it starts at $499.00 (with at least another $75 if you want it coated)....not to mention shipping & for us PA residents sales tax.

Volant- In my opinion shouldn't even be an option because of it's looks and price ($900+ are they crazy????)

Just my $0.02 but money doesn't grow on trees for me

i'd go with river raider over anything else. it looks tuff and from the one's i've seen personally, they are tuff. it would take a hell of an impact to dent it beyound being functional. with the RR one, it can take a punch and keep working. the AEV one would crack and no longer be a good snorkle.

that volant one is wierd. i'd like to see some under hood photos of that one. but i will admit that it has given me a idea of how to make a snorkle for my s10...

With the AEV and RR snorkels, I've noticed that none of ya'll are running roof racks or windshield light bars. I take that they will not fit with the snorkel in place.

They do - but it's only for the right hand drive model.

This is not mine, but the AEV snorkel does work with the Garvin rack:
