what about trussing the d30? is it necessary?

oh and what about beefing up the d44?

trussing is totally unnecessary with the magnums installed and is only really something that is necessary if you are planning to run really large tires. otherwise, the magnums just offer piece of mind.

about $185 for parts. installation is free if you do it yourself - otherwise, i would imagine it would cost a couple hundred dollars to have done by a shop.

I have a question regarding the cleaning the debri out of the axle tubes when installing inner sleeves. Couldn't you install the sleeve into the axle before you drill the holes and then drill slowly until you penetrate the axle tube and just begin to drill into the inner sleeve and then simply plug weld the holes.
This way there is no way for the shavings to enter the axle.
I have been thinking about this for some time, am I missing something?
