it's lookin like i might be able to get it in paint early this week. then if i can get the glass in right after i just might actually make my goal of road legal before my birthday!! july 31st is gettin close.
before inspection:
Paint
Glass
3rd brake light
play with superchips programmer to re-set computer
to "finish" it:
get new swingout (or mod this one)
pick up 2 wheels currently still on backorder
4.88's
to get glass, i gota get paint. to get paint, i need to sand all pannels to prep, and i need to finish the de-fire of the windshield frame. i hope to do the prep for paint tomorrow and even maybe get the panels to the paint shop. i'll also play with the programmer tomorrow.

i'm an "enginerd" without question, i live for these things!
the seat belt extension was needed ... i can't believe they sell a belt for a jeep and it wouldn't even fit around the stock console. pisses me off. the frame stretch worked great to have my dad run the come-a-long while i watched the strait edge on the frame. i had the cable doubled over with a snatch block to have twice the precision with every click of the ratchet. i know i'll catch a lot of crap for using this frame ... but i saved $700 on that one part alone. by the time i have any issues the new frames will have come WAY down in cost.
hell, i even had my mom cleanin on my cuz's YJ, had my own minions!

this forum is amazing. i love seeing the raw ability you fabricators have. i can barely do my lift kit and you are rebuilding a destroyed jeep. i'm a dentist and i can repair anything in a mouth, but before i got my jeep i had never even changed oil.

- Verify the connector pins are fully seated properly in the OBDII connector housing.
- Using a volt meter or continuity tester, verify pin 4 is grounded.
- Using a volt meter or continuity tester, verify pin 16 has power when key is turned to IGN position. If not, check fuses.
J1850 Pin Descriptions:
2) J1850 Bus+
4) Chassis Ground
5) Signal Ground
6) CAN High
10) J1850 Bus
14) CAN Low
16) Battery power
