well here's a little satisfaction!!

i drove the jeep 7 hours from pittsburgh to alexandria bay, NY. drive was flawless!! that thing is awesome smooth, but the soft door uppers are loud as fawk ... followed a winebago for miles to save gas and it helped. pulled 17.5 in 6th at 72mph w/o and 18.5 in 5th and 6th followin the motorhome.

but there are some great spots on the property where i'm at, so i had a little fun

ok, so i'm guna keep this thread as the only one for this build ... no need for another. so on that note, UPDATE!!

first off the good, GOT MY 35'S ON!!!

second, the XRC swingout ... FAIL #2.

first time was the 4wd warehouse guy who pulled the wrong part ... second time this is Smitty's fault. missing the nylon washers and c-clip, bar too long, spindal too tall, brace to short/holes don't line up, big chunk missing from the latch block. if this fit is new vs old ... its still BS, the missing parts are total BS. the box was messed up, but not bad enough to loose parts. if the bumper i got scratch-n-dent was made wrong it should have never been sold to me. if the parts just don't fit ... that's SUPER lame. so now i gota wait more and find out what they want to do.

then i since now i'm driving the JK, i pulled the YJ into the garage so i can get it ready for some fall wheelin. she needs a full lub and fluids job, all new axle seals, and the sending unit is pumping gas out all over the place!

so this swing-out thing is wearin on me now ... i REALLY want to get that on there cuz it will do wonders for back end. its a really nice unit that i can make work without tooo much issue, but i don't want to pay that much and have it "just work".

i did buy the bumper scratch-n-dent ... so i hope that's not where the issue is steming from.

what do you guys think i should do, or should expect from 4wd & Smitty ... anything??
