ok, so i have a lot more stuff to do then i really have time. Chad catches me online and says the swingout is now in scratch-n-dent ... told him to mark it sold. didn't take me long to find something else i needed while there
my hood jumps a lot on the highway and one of the plastic legs was broken on the pass side. bought some stainless hood latches to at some more shine and function better.
didn't take me too long to mod the swingout to fit. the american made bumper is much better quality then the china made swingout. sux they had to change over ... a still need to buy some hardware since even after having them send me more from what came in the box, still not enough.

i'm still workin on it. i've been tinkering with the YJ for a while gettin it ready for fall wheelin. she needed all new seals in the axles and an gas leak fixed. the biggest thing has been just drivin the hell out of it. i've already put almost 4000 miles on it!!
new latches ... hot. swingout ... really cleans up the back of the jeep. it's been a LOOOOONNGGG time since i've driven a jeep with a spare tire, it's weird!
and please ignore all the bugs ... i'll wash it one of these days ... the last pic is how much i had to cut off to make it fit.

with the cold weather coming, i decided it was time to dive into the pass side steel door. the skin is kinda warped ... but i should be able to get it good enough. it was in a fire after all, if i wanted new i'd have bought new.
got it 90% clean, too bad the last 10% will take 2x as along. once she has some primer on there, i'll fit it to the jeep and start tearin down the smashed door.
thinkin the smashed door might make some nifty shorty half doors or something.
thanx ya'll
i work on the door some more, the back side is in primmer now. while waiting for that to dry i popped out the blinkers and took a can of Night Shade to em.
pics comin soon
