that's the $1mil question now. chances are i hope this winter to have a full cage put in and tied to the frame.
but a small part of me whats to touch of a few details and trade it in on an 08 d-max 2500 for a tow rig / DD. another small part wants to get some 4.88s or 5.13s in there asap and just not do anything to it but mild wheeling for the next few years. and the final larger part of me (the part with the jeep-thing) wants to spend this winter and next summer gathering parts and cash and toss a pair of custom 9" axles under it fully locked with 35spline shafts ... a pair of 37's ... and rip out EVERY last wire and remnents of that stupid CAN-bus, re-wire old-school like and drop in a built 6.0L GM with a full manual valve body 4l60e and either stak 3-spd or 231/300 doubler. that would also follow with a teraflex LA kit.
... stop me before i kill again!! oh wait, jeepnick's rubi went down last night
no questions are dumb, there's only one way to learn!! (or search ya newb!
)
the Nite Shade can be had where ever chitty ricer parts are sold

i got mine at advanced auto parts ... but i'm sure most of them carry it.
just pop the buckets out of the grill, scuff em up with a red scuffing pad (should be no shinny left) then paint with a bunch of very thin coats. the stuff is like water and will collect in the valleies between the bumps, and lots of light coats will minimize this.
i layered until there was only a small hint of orange left while holding it in my hand. don't go overboard, test em for a few days, you can always add more later.

and thanx for the compliments guys!!

Maybe I have a dumb question, or a couple dumb questions for that matter, but...
Where do I get this Nite shade stuff?
Did you spray it on the outside of the lenses or do you have to take it apart and paint the inside?
Jeep is looking great by the way, especially now that you were able to get the doors mounted. I still can't believe how you were able to revive this thing and make it bad ass on top of that. Simply awesome.
