Default Pulled the trigger

Ok, I finally broke down and did it....I got a Rubicon !!! My son is getting older (and taller) and just didn't fit very well in the two door. So, I went to dealership with the intent on getting a base X Unlimited and building it up. They apparantly needed the sale to write off losses for last year. I managed to pick up a new 09 Rubicon Unlimited for 25500! I stayed with the Jeep Green (that was a must). Let the mods begin (again).

On a side note, has anyone else felt remorse, and a little sadness at selling your old Jeep? I, oddly enough, did. That Jeep has been everywhere with me. I felt bad giving someone else the keys. Huh.

Well, here are driveway shots of the Rubicon.

You should be feeling bad about stealing that Jeep, not about leaving your old one.

On a more serious note, there is always sellers remorse when you sell an old Jeep.

That's awesome!

You will never regret getting the Rubicon either.

There's an APB out for you for stealing that jeep.

Think of all the mods you can do with the money you saved on the price of that Rubi.

For those of you who are doubting the price, I started the deal on the 31st of December. It is amazing what they will do on the last day of the year. MSRP on the Jeep was 33880. Invoice was 30200. After a brief discussion about the price being to high, they came WAY down. They needed to clear inventory off of the lot. The way it was explained to me was that they could spread the loss of the Jeep out over several months on their 08 reports. In the end I paid 25515 for the Rubicon. After Tax, Registration (very high in AZ) and the option for Gap insurance, I was out the door at 28980. I assure you that I will return to them for any future purchases, and I will send my friends to them.

Still more than I wanted to pay, but for a Rubicon, I obviously got a smoking deal.
