Put a bra on it!

I thought the bra was something you put on BEFORE you sold it. To cover up the damage...

I guess some folks use a bra. I prefer the "bro".

Just reviving an older thread...

Anyone know if you're supposed to take it off when/after it rains too, or just when you're washing it and it would be thoroughly soaked?

I intend to wash and wax regularly underneath to make sure it won't scratch, but taking it off everytime I think it's going to rain could be a pain in the neck...

Also, I would only keep it on in the summer, any idea if the paint would discolor drastically? Keep in mind, mine is yellow, so it probably wouldn't be as noticeable as a dark color...

you don't need this. you're too high off of the ground to catch a lot of the pebbles that are being thrown at lower cars. If you plan on washing and waxing take it off now, it causes a ton of scratches from debris getting caught under there from highway driving and the elements and they scratch the shit out of the paint. It's just not worth the bother.

Is this from experience having one, or just your opinion? As for chips, I've just finished repairing the third chip in my windshield in one year, so rocks and debris definitely go that high. Truth be told, though, I just like the look of it on yellow Jeeps (though not the ugly grille cover that goes with it that's in the above post).

I figured if I wax it good underneath, and then remove it every 2 weeks or so to clean the underside and the hood, it wouldn't scratch up...
