Put a bra on it!
I don't get why alot of you guys are freeking out
I put the bra on the Jeep every so often during the summer and i take it off when it gets really wet, and i also take it off after a few days to make sure everything stays clean and tight.
After 3 summers of doing this i have no scratches on this section of my hood, and there is no difference in the paint.
As long as you take care of it, you won't have any issues. If you leave it on for months at a time you might have some trouble.
But for having first hand experience with this, it's not harmful to my Jeep, it's easy to put on and just as easy to take off.
For flapping on the hood, at 70mph the air current just raises up the bra an inch off the hood, and when i slow down the bra rests back down to it's tight position. Rarely does it flap, when it does flap (semi truck wind gusts) it's only for a few seconds at absolute most.
