Default Rancho high steer knuckles

I wanted to do a feature on the new Rancho high steer knuckles for the Jeep JK. I decided to go with the Rancho over the others available because of the price and I just honestly like the red color, it looks awesome. The Rancho knuckles are priced lower than the other offerings on the market, but the quality is top notch. They are very solid and beefy. I installed mine when doing an axle swap, so all the parts in the pictures are brand new. This is a great time to install these knuckles.

These knuckles work with both left and right hand drive models, and include 3" bump stops. You must use a flipped drag link with these.

I installed mine with RCV axle shafts, and there is absolutely no rubbing at full lock. The only thing I couldn't use was the factory brakeline bracket, as the RCV boot wouldn't clear it. Definitely not an issue with the knuckles themselves. Steering is very solid. I couldn't really take a good comparison between the factory knuckles and the Ranchos as I sold the factory Rubi 44 and left them on the axle. Size wise there is no comparison. Anyone in the market for new knuckles should definitely highly consider the Rancho knuckles. I am very happy with them, and it is definitely nice to have another option to choose from, and save some money in the process.

Thanks for adding that pic. I wanted to do a comparison shot from both the side and front profile to show the size difference of the Rancho vs stock, but left them on my factory axle when selling it.

I put mine on a couple of weeks ago! They are a great tuff looking product. Having an alignment done this week... because I never have had a shop align my JK, and thought It would be good to do so after so many changes to mine!

I realize you still have to run a raised TB bracket axle side to use these knuckles, but does the DL still get flipped and mount on top, or does it mount below and the actual mount itself was raised to create a high steer? In the picture above the DL mounts look about the same height which leads me to believe you still flip the DL to the top of the mount.

You must use a flipped drag link with this, and yes it mounts to the top of the bracket.

Are there some additional benefits besides gaining some TR clearance?
