Nope. I don't see the need. In the back I have sub's, amps and recovery gear. I wanted a secure clean look. I have done a lot of custom work over the years, so I try to keep it simple.
I will take a few pics tonight and try to post tomorrow and let you know how I made it. I appreciate the compliments.

I don't have a write up, but i'm no fabrication expert. I spent weeks trying to figure out where to mount it so that it would be out of the way. I purchased the Hi-lift mount and drilled it onto my Mopar bumper such that the tire carrier could still swing out.
I heard that there was a ratchet strap that was in testing where you could mount a Hi-lift and some gas tanks to the spare tire, but I just bought the mount and started walking around the jeep until i found a spot that worked.
Now, when I buried in mud and have to dig in to get it off that might be a problem, but I was going for more of the Overland look so this worked for me.
