Thumbs up Smittybilt SRC Stinger

Finally pulled the trigger. Picked it up yesterday afternoon and threw it on afterward. Had a couple of issues with one bolt and haven't drilled out for the carriage bolts on the skid plate yet (too damned hot to finish last night), but overall am completely satisfied. Took just a tick over an hour.

You should have had four bolts on each side. The upper ones on the outside were kind of hidden.

I only had one bolt strip. I just drilled out the nut that was mounted and put a smaller bolt and nut through it. Held just fine.

I have a question because it seems different sites offer differently. Is yours an SRC or XRC stinger and is this the whole package (bumper and stinger)?
Wondering because this is the type of bumper I want to go with....

Not sure if I'm gonna use the carriage bolts. Might just use 3/8 instead.

To answer the others, it's an SRC. What you see is what you get. Bumper and separate skid plate. Already had the D rings.

Price was right, too. Less than $400. Went through 4WP and picked it up at my local store.

Yeah, I was disappointed in that, too. I had been driving without mine for a couple of weeks so I could get used to life without 'em. I'll probably figure something out after I get my winch.
