I am still in shock, but Friday I sold my 08 Sahara Unlimited to my wife's best friend and bought a 2011 Silver Rubicon Unlimited. By 9:00 am the next morning my wife liked it so much she asked me to trade her '06 4Runner 4wd for an identical (But Green) 2011 Rubi for her.

The only frustrating thing was I had a $500 Jeep Targeted Direct Mailer coupon that expired 6/30/11. I called Jeep and they no way no how were going to extend it 1 day.

But I can't complain, I got both for $250 below invoice. I was going to us the USAA buying service since I am a USAA member and they quoted about $1000 over invoice. I did a ton better just by calling the dealership internet manager direct. I just used the invoice info I got from USAA to back up the dealers claim of invoice. Pretty quick and simple. He went into dealer holdback money for the $500 coupon Jeep wouldn't give me and met me in the middle at giving me $250 below invoice. The dealer I used here in Oklahoma said they sell all over the US because they will sell Rubi's at invoice all day long. Only a 30 min drive for me outside the metro area was WAY worth it! Plus interest rates are incredibly low right now (3.5%).

Been a pretty incredible 4th of July weekend for me!
