Suddenly the 'coolest Dad ever'
Took the doors off, roof off and went from nerd IT Dad to cool Dad. Pulled next to Hummer and girls chanted, "you are a dummer, you bought a Hummer.". He was not amused
First time Jeepers: I really can't describe how cool it is to ride with top & doors off. My new favorite thing.
Only disappointment was not being able to 're-locate' electric mirrors from door. Did not see that coming. So, I guess I have to by another set to use with re-location brackets?!

I agree 110%!! You feel so cool when driving the Jeep topless/ doorless.. That being said, I use the Olympic mirrors from Qadratec when the doors are off.. They cost about $60 for the pair and do the trick.. At highway speeds they vibrate a bit but I just reach out and grab it to steady it when needed.. Have fun Super Dad!!
Love driving doorless and topless with my son! He wants a Jeep now, he's 13, so i think he and I will find one and build it up. We still have 3 years!! I also went to Harley and got the mirrors for the top door hinge. $20, I think. Don't bother getting a passenger side one. You can't really see and you won't need it. The driver side is perfect! Get LONG stem ones.

DONE. Driving to Bartell's tomorrow! (I like that most 4 wheel parts places are closed on the weekends because they wheel...However, every Sunday I've geared myself up for whatever else I want to buy!)
