I have not had mine in the snow yet and was planning on putting the stock goodyear tires back on for winter.
Anyone have a decent amount of winter driving experience on highway with trails on?

Love them but I don't know if I trust them in the winter on the highway.... Slush and ice can be killers up here in buffalo

i guess im just used to better on road performance cause i used to have nitto nt05's on my old car but if i take a turn with sum speed and a little gas i break traction and spin abit. traction control comes on and than proceeds to start pumping my rear breaks wear them down.

I'm going to say Terra Grappler.

Yes the trials will prevail offroad, but i will say that my Terra's took me everywhere i wanted to go offroad. And when you air them down they actually get really sticky to the terrain. They are almost silent on road, and do very well in the rain and in the snow too.

Nitto makes great tires, and they're pretty true to size as well. With either you'll be happy, but as stated, the Trails are much more aggressive than the Terras, but the Terra's are more aggressive in person than they are in pictures.

I see alot of people just say Trails Trails Trails because they have them, but the replies about the Terra Grapplers are pretty thorough and well rounded.

Great thread. I currently have terras and love them. My 2012 is on order and I will be deciding on tires for it. Thanks for all the input.

I like the terra's as well but i guess the lightning bolts on the side wall kind of turned me off to them.
