THat thing looks good. It is a cheap and simple mod.

 

Like your mod. A guy at my work did this to his TJ. I just cut the stalk down on the factory light ,drilled a hole in the top of the tire carrier and used a small bracket and bolts I had layin around in the garage to mount the now shorter factory light in side of the wheel. I like free mods best. Yours looks good though, nice job.

 

I will be doing this mod forsure, good job.
