I picked up mine from the dealer and had them install Cooper STT 305/60 r18. They ended up pretty nice. Not nearly as big as other guys put on, but they are good enough for me......for now, as it is a daily driver.

I put BF Goodrich All Terrain KO's -305/65/18 on my stock Sahara wheels. They're about 34" tall

LT275/70R18(33x11.50) Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ's
They clear and throw mud like champs. Rock crawl'n...no problem...highway/local driving...little/slight road noise.

Overall....

im curious about this as well. What is the downfall to running 37s on the stock 18's? i was thinking of powder-coating my stock rims and selling my current rims/tires and putting 37s on the stock rims. Any problems with doing this? or is it the same as after-market? seems like the offset could be bad for 37+ tires

You should only need 1.5" spacers to clear 35" or 37". Odds are they are both 12.5" wide.
