What was done to your JK this week?
Riding along the E shoreline of Kentucky Lake, from Turkey Bay, North. Since the water is down we wondered if we could drive all the way to Hwy 68. Turns out we could, but along the way, there was an uprooted tree pointing its roots toward the path between it and another obstacle. The path sloped toward the lake, and the tree, and when I was driving by, the Jeep slid into one of those nasty near-petrified roots.
The bill will be about $1600. I guess I'm lucky it didn't nick my arm or rip my torso open!
On Sunday:
YJ: removed front and rear track bars. Undercoated tub.
JK: Modified the River Raider Air tank/evap skid plate, modified the evap to fit above the gas filler tube and up out of the way of everything! Installed the airtank and skid. Installed both Viair compressers behind both tail lights and ran the remote breathers up to the rear roll bars. Flush mounted the air guage above the driverside front speaker in the dash.

Got back from a two week road job and the wife says the Jeep is making a funny noise. I take it for a spin and the back brakes are dragging bad. Had to get two new rotors and pads at the local brake shop, Geralds. I had them order a front sensor for the ABS/ESP system. The wire got caught on the front wheel and has been tore up for about a year now. Plus all the yellow dash lights have been on all that time, annoying. So for $390 I got it all fixed and my cruise control works again.
