I'd try the bolts as they are first - if you hate them, then go black.

Swapped out the drop pitman arm from my lift kit with the factory since I did not use the track bar relocation bracket due to buying a JKS adjustable...made a lot of difference..NO MORE BUMPSTEER!!

You will NOT REGRET these!!
I've had them for two years and LOVE THEM!! Rock steady with no rattle and very little vibration. Both are usable, unlike others. I'm considering getting a second set of mirrors for them.
