Pretty sure I did a write up on this to make sure it doesnt chip and you get the letters lined back up right. You may have to search for it...or PM me, and Ill walk you through it

 

I didn't do a write-up per say...but I will say this...when I took the letters off...I sanded them a little bit, and used Duplicolor Chrysler match spray....I used flame red....I did about 5 coats on the letters to make sure it was a good, tough finish (they're not chipping at all so far). My only mistake was that I did not measure where the letters were sitting before I took them off, so it took a bit for me to get them lined back up exactly right on the grill. The 3M double sided tape is expensive stuff (like $7 for a small roll here), and I just cut it around the shape of the letters and it sticks unbelievably well.
