JK Show & Tell Whether they're just poser shots in your driveway or hardcore action shots on the trail, if you've got photos or videos of your Jeep JK Wrangler (or any JK for that matter that you think is worth showing off, inside or out), we want to see them so please post them here! Likewise, if you are wanting to see a photo of something specific like an aftermarket JK part or poser shot with a specific setup, this is the place to ask for it.

What was done to your JK this week?

Finally get to post in this thread. I just finished my 3" full traction lift, with fox shox and had the 35's on moto metals installed today.

I live in the Western NY snow belt. We get a LOT of lake effect snow and ice. I have had my Jeep since the fall of 2006 with original soft top only (never owned a hard top at all) and have never had any problems.

The only thing i have done occasionally in the winter is go out and push the snow off with a large broom if it is that heavy wet stuff. I just dont want to stretch the seams/stitching and potentially get a leak. I never touch the soft top windows with anything but a snow brush. The heat is more than adequate to melt any ice/snow off of them quickly.

I wouldnt mind having a hard top, but IMO they certainly aren't a necessity for the winters around here. If i lived further north where temperatures dropped well below zero for extended periods of time i might consider getting a hard top, but then again maybe not.

I've considered using the soft top exclusively, but it would require adding a host of security boxes given the stuff I carry (mostly camera gear). Plus, the hard-top is a bear to store.
