What was done to your JK this week?
Installed a bunch of stuff I had from Christmas.. weather has unseasonable mild so got went with the half doors for the day!
- MV-50 on board air installed on Sinister FabWorks bracket.. still need to do the hard wire and plumbing
- Class III receiver out back
- RR recovery shackle in the receiver
- Hi-Lift mounted on ACE Engineering hood brackets and painted the red handle on the Hi-Lift black ( the Ace brackets are beautiful, but try as I might I couldn't get the lift positioned such that it wouldn't hit the cowl when the hood is up so I added rubber bushings between the lift and bracket to raise the lift up a bit..problem solved. Think I need to paint the bracket though.. the silver it an eyesore)
- Painted the gap between the bumper and rear gate while I had the bumper off to install the receiver..
- Plugged the holes on the inside of the doors left once the OE mirrors were removed
- covered the holes on the outside of the doors.. Couldn't find the RR trim pieces that cover the holes, and didn't want a plain black cover over them, so I fabbed my own solution..
Threw the softies on for a run out to the beach..
