JK Show & Tell Whether they're just poser shots in your driveway or hardcore action shots on the trail, if you've got photos or videos of your Jeep JK Wrangler (or any JK for that matter that you think is worth showing off, inside or out), we want to see them so please post them here! Likewise, if you are wanting to see a photo of something specific like an aftermarket JK part or poser shot with a specific setup, this is the place to ask for it.

What was done to your JK this week?

Default I added grille inserts....

I know it's been done before; however, I thought I'd post my mod for the week.

I took self adhesive zip tie blocks, metal mesh, black spray paint, and zip ties and added a homebrew grille insert. The mesh was free, I already had the zip ties and spray paint so I just had to buy the zip tie blocks. Total cost, 4.00 and some change.

Took about 30 minutes total install time.

The mesh was cut to fit the inserts. Would work best if you just had one big square to cover all grille holes opposed to what I did and have one cut for each hole. Oh well.

here are some picks.

Drake hood tie downs, Rugged Ridge hitch and Husky cargo liner. The hitch was the tougher one to do, as i had to loosen the bumper off to get the bolts on.

I bought it on craigslist and the guy had added a "velcro kit". Not sure if its actually a kit or just velcro glued down but either way it works. I just used the other velcro on back or as strips to hold stuff down... Hopefully that made sense.

The Garvin's bolt to the frame. Two mounting points that require 3 holes drilled (6 total per side). I also welded the mounting plate to the frame for extra strength. Pretty solid setup and there's a bit of a step for the wife.

I finally got my windows tinted. I got Suntek Carbon 35 put on it so now it's at 28%. I'm pretty happy with it

Earlier in the week I removed the bulky LP bracket and installed the plate directly to my tub (I ran a little 3led light from a bike shop for legality) then I drilled and installed 4 (5/16) clevis pins through the joints that attach the soft top to truly make it removable kinda a makeship quick disco for the top... I think the cleaner body looks better on the summer days. And lastly yesterday I did the six dollar dash upgrade.... still have to do the gauge cluster but ran out of time, goin to Bridgeport OHV today
