I removed the silver bumper insets front and back, plasti-dipped my trail rated badge, both door and tailgate lock, front Jeep emblem and front fender marker lights. Forgot to dip the antenna, get that next weekend.

Still trying to decide if I want to dip my grill or just my turn signal lenses.
Almost done with the cheapo mods... Finally figured out my lift and my wheels, just trying to decide on 35's or 37's.

Today I decided to do a little work on my JK, I removed the factory tailgate hinges and painted in behind on the tailgate because that is a spot where the factory does not paint and that's how rust starts in behind all the hinges...you would figure that Chrysler would paint every panel then adding the hinges but no...every thing is put on the it's painted complete!
Here is a pic of the factory hinges & 1 of them with the back thats against the panel...no paint & rust started to form...

I taped the panel off and painted with Rustoleum when there was no paint...you can see on the bottom hinge where Chrysler neglets to paint behind the hinge...

Both area cleaned & painted...

Painted dried up after 1 hour & I installed the new Stainless Steel Tailgate Hinges & also Plsti-Dipped the Bolts for the Contrast...

I also did the Mopar Gas Cover Bolts & Jeep Logo on the Cap in Plasti-Dip...just waiting for it to dry & clean it up...
