JK Show & Tell Whether they're just poser shots in your driveway or hardcore action shots on the trail, if you've got photos or videos of your Jeep JK Wrangler (or any JK for that matter that you think is worth showing off, inside or out), we want to see them so please post them here! Likewise, if you are wanting to see a photo of something specific like an aftermarket JK part or poser shot with a specific setup, this is the place to ask for it.

Got some plasti-dipping done today. Did the hood and the cowls.

When I tore off the tape from the hood, the edges turned out bad so i redid them. but then I noticed the color was uneven, does that just mean I did uneven coats or what? Does anyone know?

With plasti dip you have to peel the tape right after you spray or else it all sticks together (as I'm sure you saw). You can do that or peel very slowly and use a razor blade or something similar to very lightly "guide" the peel.

Yeah that's what I learned, I did my coats right after each other and peeled it off immediately and it came off no problem. Still wondering why the color is uneven though

What he said^ if your doing plasti dip with no edge like emblems or something like that. You will have to peel the tape right after you spray to prevent the rest of it coming off.
