JK Show & Tell Whether they're just poser shots in your driveway or hardcore action shots on the trail, if you've got photos or videos of your Jeep JK Wrangler (or any JK for that matter that you think is worth showing off, inside or out), we want to see them so please post them here! Likewise, if you are wanting to see a photo of something specific like an aftermarket JK part or poser shot with a specific setup, this is the place to ask for it.

What was done to your JK this week?

Attempted to install a new Cobra 25LX. CB was bad out of the box and saying it was transmitting even with just power to it and nothing plugged in.

When you say that nothing was plugged-in... do you mean just the coax or both the coax and the microphone? Also, is the microphone the original mic or one that was wired for the radio? An incorrectly wired mic could have the transmit and receive wiring flipped and cause it to transmit while the mic is in the released or receive state.

Hope you can get it figured out.

It's all the correct equipment from the manufacturer. I was troubleshooting everything from electrical, to coax, to antenna. Everything is still a no-go. Cobra told me its shot. Thanks for the insight though.

Can't you get your windshield replaced for free (no out of pocket $) through your insurance?

.

When I replaced a windshield earlier this year it was cheaper to pay out of pocket because my deductible was more.
