What was done to your JK this week?
FYI... don't drive through AZ with it attached to the dash (or vehicle) like that. Arizona is an open carry state too (any where in the vehicle) as long as its holstered but the holster cannot be attached to the vehicle. The idea is to make it a 2-step process (grab the holster/weapon and remove before using etc).
If you have a CCW though the rules change in AZ... and I believe AZ recognizes Colorado's CCW too (or did at one time). So then you can carry without a holster anywhere within the vehicle... though I'm not sure if the CCW will remove the limits of attaching the holster to the vehicle as that would be a one-step process just like an unholstered weapon.

Id mainly have it in the vehicle when going into certain parts of the city for transactions off craigslist that might be a bit dicey, and for when we head up to the trails. Had a couple times when buying things off CL that I was glad I had it with me and didnt need it, but it was there.
Gun is for safety, not intimidation or retaliation. It sure will get looks from passers by when the doors are off though
Good luck with the class!
Thanks man. Ive been wanting to do it for a long time but it seems like things never lined up, either time or money... and now they both have so I am pretty excited to get it done. With all the law-speak that the laws are written in, it will be good to grill the instructor about all the understandings I have and friends have on the interpretation.
