What was done to your JK this week?

Installed some cheap fog lights in the reflector holes in my Olympic Rescue bumber. If you use a winch, you cant use the factory fog lights. I wired them to the factory harness and they work pretty damn good. Although they dont fill up the entire hole, I guess they dont look too bad.. They were on clearance for $10.00.

Let's see...
...took my Congo Cage apart and cleaned, sanded and repainted the rusting areas; put it back together and doubled up on the silicon to hopefully seal it better.
...installed RR Mirror Relocation Brackets, simple and straightforward and moved my mirrors. Took a bit of getting used to the new placements.
...took the doors off and wheeled around on Sunday in Red Cone. Great time!
...installed the home-grown sway bar release solution using a clevis pin and some washers and grommets, should make life much easier.
I have plans to install the home-grown CAI this week sometime, can't wait to see how it turns out.

made me a stubby
I took my front bumper and narrowed it 20 inches. I didn't heat weld the plastic, the last 4'' of each end I used as a cap and trimmed them so they slid inside the the center section then riveted them with aluminum rivets. Looks clean, I'm extremely pleased....PHOTOS in member galleries under tinman080 NOTICE NOTICE NOTICE- many thanks to MRTOOL aka Andy for the extremely generous gift of his leftover bumper on our freebie thread. A real straight-up guy( with a nice silver Rubi)!
