JK Show & Tell Whether they're just poser shots in your driveway or hardcore action shots on the trail, if you've got photos or videos of your Jeep JK Wrangler (or any JK for that matter that you think is worth showing off, inside or out), we want to see them so please post them here! Likewise, if you are wanting to see a photo of something specific like an aftermarket JK part or poser shot with a specific setup, this is the place to ask for it.

What was done to your JK this week?

Not a stupid move. The truck lites are def the middle of the road LED upgrades if that makes you feel any better. They can go up to $1000. $420 for a LED upgrade is good and i'm sure you will be happy with them.

Enjoy night driving!

Ur gonna love em! I had hid.... They were crap! No matter what I did they wouldn't work right while the engine was running.... When the engine was off they worked great, but didn't do much good if they flashed like police lights driving down the road so I got Trucklites. Definitely brighter and clearer light from the led than the hid...... Just my opinion.

There's a pretty lengthy review on another forum where the guy did a "headlight / headlamp shootout."

Long story short:
- Upgraded bulbs in stock housing = suck
- HID units in stock housing = suck. You really need to have a projector to use HID's at their best.
- Rebel Offroad apparently has a real nice HID kit, it's pretty bright, and seems to do well in the stock reflector headlamp housing, only thing is it's not DOT approved
- TruckLite LED's = pretty damn good but not as bright as JLS but they also cost half as much
- JL Speaker's = top of the line if you've got the loot

I just installed the TL's. Didn't even bother with harness upgrade to address the flicker. Barely noticeable on low but more apparent when using high beams but I barely use my high beams anyway and if i needed the extra light with no flicker, I'll just turn on my Rigid Dually's or 10" bar.

For the price, it's definitely worth it and I'm glad some of the other guys steered me to just go ahead and install them even without the no-flicker harness. You won't regret it. Just eat more ramen for the next couple of months

I didn't get the harness either. Figured I'd be alright without it. Thanks for the reply.
