Thanks! Have you tried looking under the drivers side dash? There's a small empty compartment with a metal bracket. I'll take some pics later and show you where mine is mounted.

I have two amps in my system but one of them I mounted right over the wheel well using the molle rack available on eBay. I emailed the guy who makes them and asked if he could make me one that reaches flush with the wheel well rather than set back on the wheel well. I then zip Tied the amp to it and it hasn't budged one bit.
