JK Show & Tell Whether they're just poser shots in your driveway or hardcore action shots on the trail, if you've got photos or videos of your Jeep JK Wrangler (or any JK for that matter that you think is worth showing off, inside or out), we want to see them so please post them here! Likewise, if you are wanting to see a photo of something specific like an aftermarket JK part or poser shot with a specific setup, this is the place to ask for it.

What was done to your JK this week?

Default Wtf

I totally effed up today is what I did to my JK today. Had to replace my water pump, so I also decided to replace my upper and lower hoses swell as a new thermostat. Should have been easy...got the sealant on the water pump gasket and put it on...started to tighten all the bolts, not even torqueing...bolt broke in the block. I tried to drill it out and use an extractor, my drill bit broke in the hole. So now, my JK sits waiting to be towed tomorrow to get died by a real mechanic. This may have cured me of ever doing anything else to my Jeep. I might not even ever do an oil change again.

Ouch. Every once in a while something goes wrong. Don't let that deter you from working on your JK. Well all make mistakes. Sounds like you had a faulty bolt of you wern't torquing and it broke. Get it fixed and jump right back in!

Really frustrated. My wife was actually really cool about it. She came home early from work for my mental support and said I save us so much money doing the simple stuff like oil changes that this doesn't really matter. I'm drinking heavily now!

We all have those moments. Only a few of us have wife's that understand. Sounds like you should sit back and enjoy those beers and jump back in tomorrow.
