I did and wheeled it that way for 2 years. Pretty dry round here tho. Stayed out of the river.

Yes if you are talking about the boot that allows the shaft to length in/shorten. If you are talking tranny side boot it will be a matter of time.

Default Truck Lite, Rigid Industries and Line X

Replaced headlights with Truck-Lite. Replaced foglights with Rigid Industries Dually. Added Rigid Industries Dually on the a-pillar. Finally Line-X the grill.

My one cost about $75 for the premium which doesn't fade!

Hard top removed. Soft top installed. Tires rotated. Wheels retouched with bedliner. Muffler painted with high temp paint.
