I have a four inch ProComp lift and I like it very much as far as a good lift on a budget goes, I was just curious if I ever wanted a smoother ride would all I need to replace be the shocks and springs or should I get a whole new lift kit with all the extensions also.

Yes. They do. They are a petroleum product.
Smell will go away over time only.

Mine took about a month to fully air out. If you run around with no doors for a few days that helps too

WOW. What state do you live in?
We have fender laws here in Ohio,
Though they don't enforce it much,
But if you are doing goofy things on
The road. They can (and have) pulled
People over and ticketed them for it.

Short lived though. Ride home dropped to 68 and the wife was a nagging.

3hrs the kids and I enjoyed the freedom ride.
Now we just have to wait another month when its 90-100 day in & day out for the nagging to subside.
Bummer.. Sorry to hear that! But that's the fun of it! braving the cold...

Not very original but plastdipped the keyholes and trail rate badge. Ripped off jeep logo. I got too lazy to take the silver appliqués off the bumper. Maybe next time.
