What was done to your JK this week?
Got the slider bars on the sides and the rear stinger done today as well as made all the pivots for it.
Tire carrier holds the tire off the ground when dropped down I'll put limiting strap on it as well as it'll either hinge to rear or side sliders....haven't decided yet but will finish ot between now and Thursday.

Jeep got re-geared from 323 to 488. What a world of difference holy crap! Also got OR-Fab Tire Carrier installed and love it. Finally re-centered steering wheel. Overall a good weekend for this guy!

Looks great! I'm just curious why you choose 4.88s? I have the same setup with the lift and similar tire size. Looking to regear soon and I'm thinking I wanna go 4.88s, where do you see the most difference? Freeway, acceleration, city, high speed etc...?

Thanks! Well I had 3 choices in my opinion. 456,488,513. I talked to the guy who was doing it at Appalachian OffRoad in Westminster who has done and been around a lot of Jeeps. He recommended the 488. It's gonna deliver better on trail then 456 with the current setup. The RPMs weren't going to be much different at 70 MPH and it gives me some room to still go 37s if I want. While I think 513 is also a good choice if you're gonna go 37s and 40s I think it's too much for 35s. I've noticed tht on hills I'm not constantly downshifting to 5th and I can now use 6th gear. Hope that helps.
