What was done to your JK this week?
Installed my dirty dog sunshade, and netting. Removed my custom made trunk I had in the back, and removed my stock carrier in preps for my genright carrier that's coming. Also waiting for my evo 4" springs to get here Friday, install Fri night, then sat to Rausch Creek! Busy week.

Attachment 457471I don't like stock lights, and the holes and body contour do not work with round LEDs, so when I saw these at a hot rod swap meet, I realized they were the ones( 65 Mustang lense and bezel are all you need). Took taillights off, cut away all excess plastic from bucket (retain the mounting screw areas) with fixture and wiring, then mounted them inside the body. Only wiring change is a wire side to side for the backup light, seen below license plate. I still need to add one on the pass. side and the added wire goes away.
Also you may note the missing center brake light. I cut the bracket down so the light is visible when the brake is on, but not visible otherwise. The main reason for this is the glare in the rear window left me no visibility to the rear when backing up and applying the brake. The glow in the spare tire is very noticeable and can be seen with my tire mount bike rack in place.
