This is my jeep with tires a little larger then stock and a 4" lift just for reference. I had the opportunity to get a decent lift and these tires were still relatively new.

Just so you can get an idea of how lifts with small tires look.

Thanks a lot, I was looking for that kind of pictures to give me an idea. So I guess with 2" it would look good.

Thanks again

Default Pulled the Hard Top Using Ratching Tie Down Straps

Didn't have anyone to help take the hard top off, so I used a method I saw on one of the forums. Not to bad for $20.

Here's my jeep a while back with 35x12.5 no lift with chopped fenders and spacers.

I like the first two pics. Really shows the better visibility with the fogs on. Thanks

I got my tips from a quick search on "door handle mod jk" on the forum. Found a few things. The main thing is make the template, make another template, and another one just to be sure (haha). No really it wasn't bad. I played with the numbers a bit. You have 4 1/4 drilling space on the handle. I split tht by 2 and you get 2.125 so that's your center hole (if you choose 5 holes) and then use whatever distance in between you like. I used 14/16 of an inch. When you make your template make sure you measure your circle so they don't run into each other. I used 3 shop rags, shoved them behind the door handle bunching the rag wherever I was going to drill. I used the template and a spare drill bit to make marks on the door handle where I would be drilling, used a small bit to make a pilot hole, then just increased drill bits by two till I got the hole the size I wanted. I ended up with 3/8.

After thoughts. I did the hole front passenger side first. I would recommend doing a rear passenger door or tailgate first incase you screw up it won't drive you nuts.

Also I used a drill with a level on it which was beneficial.

Take your time and don't rush. After the first handle I decided it'd be more efficient to make all drill marks, make all pilot holes, then increase the size of the bit. Don't forget sand the backside of the handle when your done or its a little sharp for kids or significant other.

Use the retracting part while drilling to make the hole nice and smooth. The less time your going towards the paint the better.

Last thing. I think the 5 holes looks better then 4 IMO but I think the 4 hole look is easier and you won't run into holes being outside your drillable surface. If you do go towards the door handle button or the side that attaches to your door too far the handle plastic will crack. Nothing noticeable to the naked eye but I probably have 1-2 spots where ill end up patching with rtv or silicone.

It really was easy but I just my few takes on it.
