Notices
JK Show & Tell Whether they're just poser shots in your driveway or hardcore action shots on the trail, if you've got photos or videos of your Jeep JK Wrangler (or any JK for that matter that you think is worth showing off, inside or out), we want to see them so please post them here! Likewise, if you are wanting to see a photo of something specific like an aftermarket JK part or poser shot with a specific setup, this is the place to ask for it.

What was done to your JK this week?

Mine was $5k, it would be quite a bit less if you went black cause they don't have to add the color to it. I know they took off some of the price when I decided to go black on my top. It's quite a process, 5 days and they take the whole jeep apart and rough sand it with 30 grit and a green scotchbrite.

Not bad going to shop around... how does it hold up on trails and if your brush your arm or something against it

Takes the bark off branches that you rub on, not the other way around. Rub it with your gloves to brush snow off and it takes the leather and color out of them. Rugged and durable so far as I can tell. I'm sure if I rubbed rocks and such it would rub paint off, but I haven't tried yet. It does let the snow stick to it more instead of it falling off like a slick paint job, but that's not a big deal. It makes it a lot quieter too ride too. Does add about 350lbs to the weight of the jeep though, but it is evenly distributed.
