JK Show & Tell Whether they're just poser shots in your driveway or hardcore action shots on the trail, if you've got photos or videos of your Jeep JK Wrangler (or any JK for that matter that you think is worth showing off, inside or out), we want to see them so please post them here! Likewise, if you are wanting to see a photo of something specific like an aftermarket JK part or poser shot with a specific setup, this is the place to ask for it.

What was done to your JK this week?

Today I installed Synergy's front lower shock mount relocation brackets. Took a fair amount of cutting/grinding to get the brackets to fit nicely around the lower C gussets.

Hey out of curiosity when would you find having lower shock mount relocation brackets a bonus? I'm asking because I'm about to pull the trigger on my C gussets and since they'll be welded on, figure killing two birds while the welder is down there might be a good idea. I'm already cringing about replacing my ball joints at the same time too when I only have 4K miles on my rig.

The Synergy's are bolt on, Nemesis Industries makes a nice set too that also raises your shock mount an inch for more droop, also bolt on. When running a longer shock with long travel, the brackets give the shock a better angle so at full flex your shock doesn't have a stressed out bow to it. Also keeps the shock body from rubbing the frame when flexed.

With painting, that's about how long it took me! I've cut the sheet metal before but all that drilling was quite nerve wracking, knowing that one wrong move could ruin the whole side. 😰 But yes, I'm definitely going to keep JCR at the top of my shopping list from now on!

Why are you replacing your ball joints? If there's nothing wrong with them I would just leave them until they wear out.
