Installed my front truss. Took forever to weld but at least I know I didn't warp anything haha.
I just ordered the Artec Industries JK Dana 30 full armor kit. They claim that with the truss, your far above doing sleeves and that sleeves add only a small amount of additional strength where as this truss assembly ads a great deal more compared to the sleeves. I was going to do both, but after talking with them I'm thinking I'll be good just with this.

Did you do it in the Jeep? I'm planning to yank the axles and do my welding in the bench.... I couldn't imagine the fun you had (not!) doing this in the vehicle.

I had to take the Jeep in to the dealership as battery was acting up and sounded like it was about to die. Low and behold it died right in front of the service advisor. Gotta love that! Wanted to put in a heavy duty battery of some sort however since the battery was still under warranty (3yr 36k miles) I had them just replace it. Only 2 years old. And the best part they did not give me one bit of hassle about anything on my Jeep!

I did do it under the jeep. Used wet rags as I went.
