Default Bestop Soft Doors

After mixed reviews, I finally decided to try out Bestop's 2-piece soft doors. Installed last night. It took quite a bit of adjusting and patience to get them to seal well all the way around, but seems to be successful. Steady downpour at a strong angle this afternoon and no wet seats or carpet afterwards. Although, I always pull my carpet out during spring/summer/fall anyway, since I run with no doors a lot and get caught in rain frequently. But, if these doors continue to seal this well, I may be able to just leave it in!?!?!?

My local gear/transmission shop just quoted me $2950 just to do the gears without the lockers.

Looks like I'll be going PR or Rubi takeoffs if I can't find another shop. Or buying me a case spreader and magnetic micrometer and breaking new ground for me.

That is absolutely insane. I paid 400 total...for both. I brought all the parts though. Not sure if you have everything yet.

Don't you just love how roomy these modern vehicles are?

The gears and master install kit are under a grand I believe so I was expecting maybe 1500-2000 tops for gears only. I wish I lived near your shop. That's quite a deal you got there. Lucky dawg.

Yea you can get gears with master kits for $600-$700 range. My local shop charges $400 per axle so I would look at about $1500 total.

There is/was. I called them yesterday and they said they no longer do it and referred me to the thief. It sounded like a young kids voice though so I think they may have sold the business. There is a 4 wheel parts store an hour from me but all the reviews were awful so scratch that.

I'll keep looking for a bit.
