Default Kicker speaker upgrade in sound bar!

Finally upgraded the stock (and horrible) speakers in my 2015 JKU Sport. I swear the speakers in my 1989 Ford Probe were better than these! Upgraded to the Kicker speakers with the Jeep plug and play wires, and also used poly-fill inside the sound bar, what a difference! Now I will have to replace the fronts! Highly recommend this to anyone who does not have the Infinity/Alpine system.

I actually did the same thing today minus the poly fill. The fronts will be next.

I haven't popped mine open but wanted to know was it a three-way speaker up there or a component like the front.

Edited. No need to answer. I had free time during lunch and saw that the back were components too.

Default Drove It!

I actually let my daughter drive off road. Got the Jeep really muddy and then washed and waxed it.

The backs made a difference but the fronts are where it's at. Never mind all those who said the LF speakers were hard to replace. Just unscrew all the bolts shown in other threads and roll the box towards the rear and down. Comes out easy.

I temporarily (as in don't laugh at the wiring, or that it is now upside down) installed a (SR48 76350) Procomp single row light bar and the (75300) Procomp over windshield mount.

Trying to get it to stop whistling or making the roof flap. Still deciding if I keep it or sell it as I am not sure if I will ever use it.

(Thoughts welcome.)

That was my initial reservation on getting a light bar. Keep us posted if you figure out how to get rid of the whistling/flapping issue and how you did it. I know folks that have roof racks suffer the same fate. I have heard some wrap bungee cords around the bar just above the windshield to prevent whistling issues. Good luck

had 5.13's put in and while they were at it I had them install Ten Factory chromoly shafts front and rear. 5.13s are so much better than the 4.10s with 37's
