JK Show & TellWhether they're just poser shots in your driveway or hardcore action shots on the trail, if you've got photos or videos of your Jeep JK Wrangler (or any JK for that matter that you think is worth showing off, inside or out), we want to see them so please post them here! Likewise, if you are wanting to see a photo of something specific like an aftermarket JK part or poser shot with a specific setup, this is the place to ask for it.
Can you give a VERY basic price list of before and after setup? You can even say "$x for 2" lift setup" then "$y for the additional stuff" or something. Just curious.
That's a lot of lift and articulation for 2" + 1" body. I say again, WOW!
I ordered the original OME 2" kit from David at Northridge for like $600 something I believe. Then I added adjustable track bars to straighten the axles. That was like another $300. The 1" BL was around $100. The OME long-travel shocks were around $300 something and the lower control arms were around $550. So all together thats about $1850. Then if you add in all the miscellaneous stuff I had to do such as extended brakelines, bumpstops, 1/2" spacers, and spring retainers; that's about another $250. So that's $2100. Getting real close to some of the complete lift kits out there but I've learned an awful lot about my jeep by doing things one step at a time (this is my first Jeep), and saved a lot of money by doing most of the installation myself. And really it shouldn't even be $2100 if I had gotten the Long travel shocks in the first place.
Sorry didn't mean to write a book but I had to explain everything I did for you to get a better idea of actual cost. I have to agree though that this setup has been a bang for the buck winner so far. It's allowed me time to save up for something else as I go as opposed to buying a large kit all at once.
If I could do it all over again and had the money I'd probably go with a 3 or 4" Teraflex Flexarm kit and replace the shocks with OME LT's for a better ride.
