JK Show & Tell Whether they're just poser shots in your driveway or hardcore action shots on the trail, if you've got photos or videos of your Jeep JK Wrangler (or any JK for that matter that you think is worth showing off, inside or out), we want to see them so please post them here! Likewise, if you are wanting to see a photo of something specific like an aftermarket JK part or poser shot with a specific setup, this is the place to ask for it.

What was done to your JK this week?

Blacked out the muffler. I know it's silly but since the day I bought it (used) I just felt like the silver-on-rust theme stuck out like a sore thumb, especially against the black. Can of the VHT flame proof header paint and I'm very surprised how much better * I * think it looks.

I also rotated my tires. I'm not a weightlifter and I don't have much of a tool supply (not even a good floor jack). So how am I gonna manhandle these heavy Nitto 35's?

Well I am an engineer and lazy by nature so I "made" a tire mover assister thingy.

I had some 1in pvc cut offs from another home project and a 1/4 sheet of plywood.

If the Egyptians could move giant tons of pyramid rocks with trees as rollers, surely I could scoot a 100lb tire around right?

Loosen lug nuts. Jack up tire enough to roll the plywood under. Lower jack ever so slightly so that the lugs and holes lined up perfectly. Roll/slide the tire away. One handed!

Bonus: when the "tire mover assister thingy(TM)" allowed the tire to clear the wheel well, the tire gently rolled off the plywood with a tilt. Like a ramp. Like a tool designed for the job.

Extra bonus: getting the tires off is usually easier than trying to horse them back on and guiding the holes to the lugs. With the soon-to-be-patented tire mover assister thingy(TM) it was even easier than takeoff.

If you can't tell I was pretty proud of myself.

I know! Crazy weather. Put my soft top on for the season and went top down Wednesday which is quite unusual in March in CT! Loving it though. Also installed some blue LED strips in the bed of my Jeep for a little extra light.

I called Quadratec this morning an added a EVO tailgate plate vent delete to yesterdays order..

That should clean up the look of the tailgate pretty good until I get a Tera Flex carrier and a 35 inch spare to hang on it..
