What was done to your JK this week?
I had never done it before, but after looking at the covers I saw that they only had (for the most part) 3-4 hog rings per seat. Those were easy to replace with the proper tool. I spent $12 at Ace on hog ring pliers and the smallest rings they had. The factory leather was a perfect fit so that was not an issue...the hardest part was assembly and disassembly.
All in all if you use the "if its been put together it can be taken apart " mindset it can be done. Just takes time (5hrs for me) and patience. Knowing I saved all that money makes me feel great...and every mod on my Jeep has been done by my own hands.

Got bored so I ran to lowes and picked up enough stuff for the DIY grill guard inserts. Took about an hour and a half. Dang hands and fingers and sore, but I'm very pleased with how it turned out.
