Put soft doors on for the season. Bought a Smittybuilt RUT tool. Tool fits in Trek Armors molle pouch nicely. May hit the Cape Cod shores this summer and the RUT tool should satisfy the shovel requirement.
Learned what a PITA it is to change the manual transmission oil when you have a skid plate. Even without a skid plate, the drain plug is very difficult to access given the location of the exhaust pipe right underneath it. Like others had recommended, I cut a 1" section off a 17 mm hex key and used a 17 mm open end wrench to turn the key. That plug came out a lot easier than the 14 mm fill plug due to some corrosion on that plug; took a long extension on a breaker bar to get it to budge.

Just ordered an oil pan gasket and rear main seal for my JK...
Looking forward to pulling the trans to get a look at my clutch and seeing how much it's got left.
Bought it with over 200k on the odometer so I'm anxious about how many issues I'll find...
Hopefully not too many as it was a one-owner and they had lifetime powertrain...
But even if there are a few things to fix, the price was too good to pass up.

I just got a brand new 2016 JK Sport in Tank Green. I made grab handles last night for the rear. OD green and Black. Can't wait to get this thing some bigger tires. <img src="https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=648648"/><img src="https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=648649"/>
