There is a metal plate welded to the frame behind the fabric and it has the holes predrilled to accept the older TJ style mirrors.

Made my own .5 bump stop spacers. Going from 3" to 2.5" (2 pucks and .5 metal spacer)

Just finished adding a new Spartan Grill...I took off the mesh & made a stencil of a Spartan Helmet & Cross Swords then painted it on in Silver...much better than ordinary black, test fitted then finished it off with the JEEP logo!

Took the JK in for an oil change and the mirror recall. And they washed the mud splatters off :(
Now it's too clean and I have to get all dirty again.

Installed part of my Father's Day present -- a little accent color for my rock lights. I'll tackle the wheel wells tomorrow.

If you have defrosting mirrors there was a recall to re wire them due to risk of fire. Forget the years it covered but my 2011 fell under that recall.
