JK Show & Tell Whether they're just poser shots in your driveway or hardcore action shots on the trail, if you've got photos or videos of your Jeep JK Wrangler (or any JK for that matter that you think is worth showing off, inside or out), we want to see them so please post them here! Likewise, if you are wanting to see a photo of something specific like an aftermarket JK part or poser shot with a specific setup, this is the place to ask for it.

What was done to your JK this week?

See if you can find those old denim iron on patches. You have to iron them on from the inside. That or Zodiac/RIBS repair patches and glue.

Sorry for your bad luck. That stinks!
A long time ago I had a tear for other reasons but about the same size. I sewed it together with fishing line using a minnow needle. Then covered it with silicone. Worked well. Good luck!

Try the tenacious tape gear aid stuff. Comes in rolls and is typically used to fix tents etc... You could probably also stitch it together with heavy duty thread and then put the tape over top to seal it

I live in Colorado and find the 4:10's just about perfect. My preference would be a little more low end grunt (4:56?). But in low range crawling? Never had an issue.

How did you get 3:73 with a Rubi? Newer model?

If you want to keep a low center of gravity, get flat fender flares and you can fit 35s with no lift. I just removed my lifted springs and put the stock ones back in cause I was sick of trashing driveshafts. So happy with it now, steers great, geometry is all nicey nice, and I'm running 35s. Can get it to 100mph if I try and it still feels stable.

Also 3.73s are ok for 35s if you get the superchips flashpaq, it adds lots of power, but 4.10s would be perfect to use 6th gear more.

Fabbed up some brackets and installed an ARB awning onto the TF Nebo rack.

Default Finally growing up...

I've been a member for four years and, in general, don't post much...Just use it mostly as my main resource for information, tech articles, how-to's, DIY Ideas, entertainment, etc. It truly is an awesome site thanks to all the members and staff! HOWEVER, This week my Jeep finally started growing up. I bought the jeep bone stock in 2012 and couldn't bring myself to change wheels & tires, lift, etc at that time. Money always a concern but the tires were brand new and there are so many on various sale sites that you can't hardly give them away and lifting it with those on it would have looked plain dumb (imho). Its been a rough 4-years reading what everyone was doing to their jeeps and me trying to wear out the stock tires but it finally happened. After a ton of reading, I finally pulled the trigger on a 2.5" Teraflex suspension lift, fox adventure series shocks & stabilizer, Anthem Aviator wheels & 35" Cooper Discoverer Maxx tires. While waiting for my orders to arrive, i continued to read, analyze and second guess all my decisions. I installed everything yesterday and WOW, what a difference. So far, i couldn't be happier and I had to share my picks with all the people who unknowingly inspired me to tackle this on my own. Thanks to all. It feels like a "real jeep" now .

Thanks for the responses and advice. I decided to place a tent over tonight for the rain, as extra protection over the tape. Tomorrow and for the next week we will have sunny and dry. Topless! I park at work underneath the building, so if I do this at home and park at work, no biggie. Nice days no problem. And for the little water I will get in rear, I'm not concerned because of my cargo box I built waterproof. Spring I'll have new top. This gotta last till I switch to hardtop first weekend of November. I can do it! Thanks again. FD
