Likewise, if you are wanting to see a photo of something specific like an aftermarket JK part or poser shot with a specific setup, this is the place to ask for it.

What was done to your JK this week?

Thanks!

A buddy of mine is going to try and rehab my old ones, so I'm giving them to him. I think most of the rust can be ground away but some goes pretty deep. We'll see what he can do with them. He's then going to hit them with Rustoleum spray on truck bed liner in a can, which I had thought about doing. I was worried that I'd mess them up. He's good at that kind of stuff, so it'll probably come out pretty nicely for him. I did tell him to hit the inside of them with some Fluid Film.

If you have a welder, it sure pays to just weld a small piece of flatstock on the ends and just close those suckers up completely.

I don't have one, but I'll certainly suggest that to him. That's a great idea. They could also spot weld a couple spots where it rusted through and then grind it down, prime it, and then coat them.

Axial smoked side markers. Slow and steady. Divorce makes mods hard

I'd be concerned about moisture in there still. I pulled my caps completely and they're rusting in weird spots. I pulled them (and bumpers) off the jeep completely. I've got rust happening where it's up against the body....which strikes me as odd unless there was hidden rust that just came through. I'm looking to hit them with a flap wheel and they etch prime and rust proof paint.

I installed the Dynatrac Progrip brake system today as the start of the journey to 37's. Might as well make sure I can stop them when I do finally get them. I got so much more to do first though.

Last week I installed the Teraflex Leveling Kit. This week I changed out the wheels to some take offs from a 2019 Rubicon and got 285 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. I love it.

I have not found a rack that allows me to open the tailgate. Time to make one!
